"Come Back Different" is the sophomore release from Black Fuse following 2015's debut album "The After Life Sessions".  This time around Caleb Zovar and David Blascoe have sharpened their approach to sound design, song writing and both members have stepped up contributing vocals to the groups previously instrumental sound.  This record sees Black Fuse taking themselves both more seriously with the social commentary hip-hop track "Settle Down" , and less seriously with songs like the hyper fever dream that is "The Lord Will Wake Me".  Black Fuse is confident that you are going to come back different after listening to this bold and adventurous record.  You're starting on an exciting journey...congratulations.

“Sound the Alarm” is a upbeat hip-hop track giving a wink wink to Beastie Boys “Intergalactic.” Showing off the organic drums and rapping. Its more of a proclamation the BF has arrived.

“Make It Easy” is a smooth electronic track with booming organic drums that switch to a off tempo beat with a unforgettable bass line. Also has a “snap out” ending. Talking about how we work so hard to make things easy in todays world.


“Way Home” is smooth electronic hip-hop track with a strong vocoder on the vocals that leave you in a trance.

“Watch The Sky” leaves you in a trance from the start. A trippy hip-hop track that has electronic arpeggiators that come and go and leave you wanting more.

“Run” tells a story right away. The heart thumping electronic beat keeps you guessing the whole way. Who is Running? Running from what?


Congratulations is the album opener with a booming Hip-Hop beat. Upbeat track with old samples and whimsical melodies floating around the drums. But it does get gritty and grimy with that moog bass line that might hurt your neck.

“Cinnamon Sleepover” is a track that kind of stands on its own with a floaty factory working melody. It takes its turns and leaves you wanting more with surprises along that way.
